Work Authorization for International Students
Part of the Work Talks series, this presentation for international students discusses the work authorization process for F-1 and J-1 students as you get close to graduation, as well as options for summer employment while you are still enrolled.
Visas After Graduation
This presentation for international students provides an overview of possible options for working long-term in the U.S. after graduation including becoming a permanent resident (green card holder), if you desire. This presentation is for international students with an interest in founding a business or company in the U.S. Anna Angel of Miller Mayer answers questions about how to safely navigate U.S. immigration rules as an entrepreneur.
F-1 OPT
Learn about Optional Practical Training after graduation and OPT with STEM extension. Through OPT, you can be authorized to work in the United States for 12 months, which can be extended for up to 24 additional months if you have a degree in an approved science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field.
